From the desk of : Dr Oger - Update of Genome Study
Our research group has distinguished itself at the International level: In the thymectomy
trial we have enrolled 9 patients which is the second best site IN THE WORLD out of 52 groups of researchers. The GWAS
(Genome wide advanced screening) project is progressing rapidly and there will be 1, 000 MG patients having volunteered.
Over 100 of them come from Vancouver.
I was
expecting around 200 but our start was slow and all the starting positions had been filled. We still remain with 19
positions to be filled. If anyone would like to volunteer, please contact us at 604-822-7175 and ask to speak to Simon.
If you would like to donate to Dr Ogers research, you may mail your cheques to the MGABC @ 2805 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC V5R 5H9 and we will forward them to Dr. Oger
OR you may mail them directly to the University
of BC.
